Your profitability in the long run does not depend only on the counters that are picked right but much more on how much and the timing you entered. 
Use small positions or probes in the initial market entry and only add more lots when your position is showing you a profit.
Do not add more lots when your position is showing you a loss, and in this way, you will be able to cut your losses to a small amount when you are wrong.
As well as add more lots when you are right (profit) to maximise the profit you can make.
Remember that this is trading and not investment, you don't need to be always right.  
In fact, you get a clearer picture when you are wrong so as to make a right move the next time.
 
Comments on Straits Times Index ( STI )
  
STI is in the Accelerated Uptrend Phase.
We should be able to ascertain a clearer direction to trade in this week once the influence of the US president Obama's stimulus plan is determined.
Risk Level is High.
